Re: little mutch for child

I did not know the word "mutch".... I googled and found 2 basic styles. One starts with a piece that lies across the head from ear to ear, with a semi-circular back panel. This is probably the easier type to make: can8370a.jpg img2AA2.gif The second style uses 2 side pieces. It will be more difficul...

I actually think that looks pretty good. :)

To get more wrinkles you need really a low Particle Distance setting, so there are more triangles in the mesh to crease / fold….

If you are a good painter, drawing in the wrinkles is an option too.

Re: Artifacts left over from Offset Pattern Outline?

Thank you for looking. As best I can remember the steps (and I've recreated the issue here): Start with a poly shape. One edge is a curve... Select the curve, and rt-click to choose Offset Pattern Outline... I picked this option (unfilled corner)... Drag the segment to change the shape, the vestigia...

Re: Hello, I need help with basics. 1 and 8 baloons.

I used the circle tool, then cut it with an internal line. Remove the extra, and unfold.

Artifacts left over from Offset Pattern Outline?

I have these grey lines left over from when I used Offset Pattern Outline. I can't select them. They extend outside my pattern but move with the pattern. I looked at the manual but there was nothing about it under Offset Pattern Outline. What are they? How do I edit/remove? Screen Shot 2017-11-03 at...

Re: Help with sway back curved spine?

Thank you Rosemaryr! :D

Looks like there are several ways to fix it. Some of these I'd discovered through trial and error (sort of), but much better to understand what is happening.

Help with sway back curved spine?

My avatar system has female figures with exaggerated curved spines or "sway back" (I'm not sure if that is a politically correct term). I hit this issue every time I build clothes for them, and I don't think I've solved it the same way twice. The problem is a horizontal fold of fabric across the cen...

Re: Arm pose in MD for Poser clothing

If you've imported the figure as FBX, it is easy. Once you load the avatar in MD, save the T-pose as a pose: FILE –> SAVE AS –> POSE Next adjust the joints into a working A-pose and save this pose too. As you build the clothing you can load the A or T poses as needed. As long as the simulation is ru...
