Pleats and almost-smocking for LW model

Post by MarcusLaGrone » Sun Jul 05, 2015 12:31 am

I've been playing with MD this last week and ORIGINALLY was interested in MD just to drive cloth simulation in LW (it is much nicer than Bullet and more stable than Syflex) and then I just got the bug and started to play with designs for the fun of it.

My first attempt to get pleats to work was a disaster... With a bit of work (thank you fold direction!) it started to behave so I ended up going toward smocking... just because...

The second image was an attempt toward a simple peasant blouse and skirt... Elastic is your friend...

Always odd when you have to design clothes around a tail...

Clothing done in MD, rendering done in LW.

Nicely done! I can't decide which one I like the best.

Very, very nice. I love the smocking. Big fan of cats, so I love your model, too.

I love both of those outfits, and some friends will like the anthro cat.
