Re: need help with tent design
MD likes something substantial for the "avatar" and those tent poles are too thin. My suggestion would be to make something more substantial for the cloth sim, then replace it with the poles in the final render outside of MD.

Re: Uniform: Designed in MD rendered in Blender
That looks really nice. I like the camo texture. The pocket sim did a good job. I think the pocket height looks fine. Some topstitching would be a great addition, but you'll want to do it with the texture (not separate obj out of MD).

Re: Anti-Spam-Question at the Registration
The question was still valid, but it was a bit vague. I've deleted a couple of old ones and added new. I should have done that awhile ago. Thanks for the feedback.

Re: Blender 3.0 and MD 9.5
This is really good. Thank you so much for sharing. Did you take the animation over to MD to render out the cloth animation or did you just do all the cloth in Blender? It looks great.

Re: Fabric holes
You might try increasing the distance between the fabric and the mask. On the mask set Property Editor > Surface > Skin Offset. On the fabric set Property Editor > Simulation Properties > Add'l Thickness - Collision.
Pointy things are always hard, but this might help.

Re: Simulation not working quite as expected
This looks like some type of a scaling issue. The avatars or any other collision object in MD has an offset. Select your object and you can see the offset in the property editor. The same thing goes for your "curtain". It too has an offset. These two things will push them apart. If your items are no...

Re: Layer setting for skirt
Layer 0 is the layer closest to the avatar, which would be that white underskirt or ruffle you are talking about. Every layer after that would be +1. After it simulates correctly, make sure to turn all the layers back to layer 0.

Re: Creating a curtain
You'll want to use pleats to get the right shape. I've included a project file for you to play with. You'll want to soften those sharp folds. You can do that by reducing the pleat strength/angle a bit and changing to a stiffer fabric that won't bend that sharply. It appears that the pleat tool is no...

Re: Thickness has no UV map?
That's interesting. I did some testing myself. I added thickness to a pattern and then assigned a different color to the front, back and side. Then I opened it on the UV Editor. There is no indication that the side is there. I have a feeling that the thickness is purely a render option and not assoc...

Re: Latest MD release - Smooth avatar not working correctly?
I've used it. It didn't explode or anything, but after smoothing I was using the new Auto Fitting and that crashed. It crashed on me a couple times until I turned smoothing off.
You should definitely report it to MD.
