Uniform: Designed in MD rendered in Blender

Post by MarcusLaGrone »

Uniform for a character for a short.
I will probably lower the pockets.
Needs a belt and boots.

Next step after that will be to modify this for a taller, male character.

The character was from "Make Human" brought into blender and rigged, hair added, clothes imported.
The clothes then had "solidify" added to make the cloth thicker. I isolated the buttons so they wouldn't get extra thick.

The collar is part of a simple yoke-collar stand in rather than have a full undershirt since that adds poly you cannot see and slow everything way down...

That looks really nice. I like the camo texture. The pocket sim did a good job. I think the pocket height looks fine. Some topstitching would be a great addition, but you'll want to do it with the texture (not separate obj out of MD).

Thanks for sharing.
